Context
Browsers hold a lot of work in motion: tabs, research trails, half-finished tasks, and the intent people are trying to preserve across all of it. Flowstate looked at that system as a whole, not as a collection of isolated browser surfaces.
My role
I shaped the product and UX framing: how to think about focus, context, and continuity in a browser without turning the interface into another layer of management.
The hard call
The product challenge was deciding what should be made explicit, and what should stay quiet. A good system helps people recover context and move forward, but it should not make them maintain the system by hand.
Outcome
Flowstate became a way to reason about browsing workflows: how tabs become tasks, how context decays, and how Firefox can support deep work while staying calm.
